April 28, 2014 - Weddings
Natalie + Keith

I think the abridged post is pretty key, anyway... I always have an internal battle - I have all these photos I'm in love with that I want to share, but I also don't want the posts to be bloated and lose you halfway through because you're like, ;fasdlkjfads;lkjfda;lkjfsda;lkadjfs. That's the technical term. I dunno - I'll probably always waffle a bit between shorter and downright epic posts, but for this week, at least, I'm going abridged. Short (well, let's be honest, shortER) and sweet! Enough of me - here's Natalie + Keith!!

April 21, 2014 - Weddings
Julie + Nick

Being a two-person team in both business and life, we've worked every possible combination trying to figure out the best way to run our lives. When we first started the business, we shared a computer and shared editing. Then we each had a machine and edited our own work. Then we went back to one machine with Rich doing all the editing, while I switched over to childcare (three kids demanded a full-time parent). This off-season, we decided to go back to two computers, with Rich doing all the editing on one machine, which leaves a computer free for blogging! So, I definitely anticipate our blogging quantity to go back up from this point on. :)
I've been dying to share this wedding since pretty much the minute it happened. Julie + Nick had an absolutely perfect intimate wedding at the Mansion on Delaware last summer. It was a gorgeous day with our first sighting of Lloyd's at the end of the night. I think Lloyd's ended up coming to two of our weddings last summer, and it's most definitely a wedding trend I can get behind. Julie + Nick are those ridiculously gorgeous people you secretly hope are terrible people so your jealousy meter doesn't go through the roof, and I'm sad to say that not only are they gorgeous on the outside, they are sweet and kind and wonderful people, as well. It really was just a joy to photograph their love, and I've just realized how incredibly ready I am to get out shooting weddings again. The winter is always nice - it gives us a break to focus on families, and OUR family, and the administrative side of things, but there's only so long you can go without shooting weddings before you start to go a little insane. I'm so ready for this weekend to be here and to share the amazing couples we're so lucky to be working with this summer! It's going to be epic!
